I got at Gamestop about 9 but went next door to Starbucks for an hour until they closed with my ex. Then I waited outside of Gamestop for an hour until 11 when they let us in to play their just setup bundle.

About 10 people were in there when I first arrived only half buying it the rest family. After playing through some BWT more and more people got to Gamestop eventually like 25 people.

I will never forget the Gamestop manager singing I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage. It was the single funniest thing I have ever seen. He didn't want to sing and he had the most deadpan look on his face and wasn't blinking trying to imitate a girls voice silently:
Bend me.... break me................ anyway you want me, all I want.... is you.

At midnight I was the first to ring out and they gave us a goody bag. Inside was a Kane and Lynch t-shirt (that made my night even more, I love that game even though I was expecting a Rock Band shirt if anything like all the employees), a Super Mario Galaxy coin (at first I thought they actually put the game in by accident it looks just like the actual box and I thought to myself how good can this night possibly get, but it wasn't), and an Assassin's Creed art book.

All in all, about as fun as a midnight launch can get given the social experience.

(By the way, total bundles received were 24 360 bundles and only 4 PS3. They also didn't receive one box of PS3 so that didn't help either.)

Went to one of the local walmarts in town. Ran into some friends I hadnt seen in years. LOL! We waited around for about 10 minsafter midnight wondering WTF and saw an employee taking one to the front of the store to buy. So we bugged him and then the floor stocking manager. He RELUCTANTLY went to the back to get the Rockband boxes. The bad news... they only had 10 and they were all PS3. The good news... thats just what i wanted! :) There were no XBOX versions shipped to that walmart. Proceeded to rock out for 7 hours overnight before work. This morning went to the local gamestop and got my preorder :) The dude said the walmart near their store got NO bundles only the game! SOO tonight ill be rocking out AGAIN but this time with friends and a full band! Sleep? Meh, who needs it?

Wow, midnight release and free stuff!! your Local GameStop rules man!! My GameStop is completly worthless, no midnight release, not a snowball's chance in hell for some free goods, heck I'll be lucky if they even have my bundle today.... if not screw em' I'm going to Best Buy.
