I'm not a big stock market guru, in fact, just the opposite, but I've been "playing the market" on www.wallstreetsurvivor.com and found it to be quite fun. Basically, Wall Street Survivor is a free stock market game that uses the current market prices and trends to provide as accurate a simulator as possible. When you open an account, you receive $100,000 to invest in whatever stocks you want and then you see how well you can do. I've been able to turn my $100,000 in to $180,000 but it's been a rough ride. . .at one point I was down to $60,000. If you are currently investing, want to invest in the future or just want to have fun, I highly recommend Wall Street Survivor.

Okay, this is spam...
...although, when I saw "Wall Street Survivor" the first thing that came to mind is you narrowly missed somebody jumping from their window or something... rough place right now, Wall Street is :)

My apologies if this is spam. It's something I enjoy and thought others might like it as well.
But yeah, Wall Street is a pretty scary place right now. When a company's stock goes from over $100 to mere pennies. . . well, let's just say losing the house in the Hamptons is the least of your worries.
