Official SAOSIN DLC thread

Full album downloads was a great idea! Now we need an up-to-date album for download though.. Saosin's self-titled full length album is completely amazing!! and would be an awesome choice for a full album download...

Just by listening to the songs you can tell that EVERY part of the music is amazing.. The guitar is fantastic and the drum rolls and fills are a MUST HAVE for the game that put drums in a game and the piercing vocals are unmatched. Plus this would be an up-to-date album download. This music style is lacking in this game genre but shouldn't be passed over.

If you haven't heard saosin then head over to myspace or purevolume and listen to em...and if you already heard em then you know they would be an EXCELLENT choice for the game.

Let's push this along. Rock Band NEEDS saosin

I do think that RB needs a more recent full album though and I do think RB needs Saosins genre in it because so far there hasn't been any post hardcore in RB and thats ****ed up

I'm very into Saosins whole genre

But the couple times I tried to get into Saosin I couldn't really get into them

Those songs are pretty good especially "7 years" (Very good song) but overall I don't love Saosin but they are good

Also "Act appalled" by Circa survive (Their old singers new band) is really awesome but I actually can't totally get into them either lol

Does Saosin even scream on anything after their EPs?

I'd say "It's far better to learn" needs to be on the game no matter what cuz no matter what part you play it will be amazing

seven years is one of my fav songs saosin does.. i agree though i cant really get into circa survive that much but anthony green is an awesome singer.

i think saosin got better after he moved on though imo

I rated the topic 5 stars just because it helps show the people who pick the DLC songs for RB that people do want this kind of stuff in the game

I think the rest of you should rate it 5 stars too and then it would be hard to make it go less than 4 stars rating even if a jackass rates it 1 star or something lol

As much as I like (And prefer) newer music, I enjoy a lot of the old stuff.
Actually, the only bands I don't really like as far as older music goes, are AC/DC and Twisted Sister... My entire musical taste usually gets discredited based on that fact though, sadly...

Yeah "Moving pictures" imo is the best full album RB has (Including the confirmed but unreleased ones) and even that isn't 100% good

I got bored of it really fast actually cause its not even that good

We need a 100% great album in RB

Simply put.. Saosin knows how to play. Not only are they EXTREMELY tallented but they know how to put feeling in their songs which is really what makes a song great.
Apparently not enough people know saosin so if you haven't heard em go look em up and check them out.. we need to bring this back up so this band will get the attention they deserve and hopefully the game will get the music it deserves too

Saosin is in my opinion one of the greatest ****s to come out recently. Their melodic guitar riffs, heart pounding drum fills, and catchy lyrics will all be great additions. I think that the whole self titled album should be released. I would just love to be ****ing out to every one of there songs.

Along with the album, **** **** should also release a 3 song Anthony Green Pack, which would include:

"3rd measurement in c"
"Lost Symponies"

Absolutely. I've seen Saosin with Cove and dude just cannot sing for jack squat live. Really turned me off the band.....not to mention "You're Not Alone" is one of the worst/most generic songs I've ever heard.
