Can't hear the bass guitar.

I can't hear the Bass guitar while playing RB2. It is like it is non-existent most of the time. It Intermittently comes in on songs and is super loud then just goes away. I've tried different games, my subwoofer, all the sound settings on both my stereo and Xbox. It only does this on RB2 and not on any other movie, game or system I own.

Anyone else have this happen?

Oddly enough I had this happen when I switch to my cordless headset. I am going to assume you have turned on bass boost within the game. I found that my receiver was set to DOLBY (thus simulating DOLBY) and rock band was set to Dolby. I turned Dolby off on the receiver and set it to another setting (I think it was concert hall or something like that) and that cleared the issue up. You might try turning dolby off in rockband and see what effect that has as well.
