Just thought that I'd set this up - I know I had some big fears picking up the bundle, but everything works perfectly. So no need to elaborate, just re-assure those who are hesitant by adding to the thread.

My stuff works great - Nuff said!

or are stuck at work. grumblegrumble.

So far, I've only played drums, and bro in law only played guitar on the strat, but everything seems to be working just fine so far. Although that was only about 2 1/2 hours of play. We'll see how much time he put on the game while I'm at work before he goes to pick up his pre-order from gamestop and can destroy--er, play his own strat. :D

My preorder got dropped like a hell potato, but if it hadn't, I'm sure my stuff would be faulty.

i picked up the bundle on my lunch break and hooked everything up and it all worked on the menus and everything so i guess i'm good (didn't get to play it yet, i was late gettin back to work). 1 concern however, i noticed there was a lil rattle going on inside the guitar. it didnt seem to affect anything, but if anyone has the same thing or knows what is is, post it up...

A little negative much?

All my stuff works fine. I've given the guitar only about an hour of play so far, though (played through the first tier and all the bonus songs). The drums and mic are wonderful, of course.

Since it seems to take a little while to “break” things in, we should put a “Don’t post an all clear till you have logged 5-6 hours on it” rule. If the visual I have in my mind is correct of how the contacts work, after good amounts of use the contact just eventually bends to the point where it no longer makes contact. So at least in the case of the guitar, don’t post an all clear till you have really abused it for several hours.

Everything of mine is still working fine, i played from about 12:30 - around 4:30 am on drums, then the DLC came out so I bought the Metallica Pack (OMFG hard as hell on guitar), CCR Fortunates Son, Jukebox Hero Foreigner, and Joker and the Thief (Most fun ive had playing in a simulated guitar game ever) and played guitar till 7am, hahahaha been waiting along time. Everything is still working today so looks like im in the clear.

PS. is there a review DLC thread or feature, cause there totally should be

The one I opened (:p ) works fine. The guitar has a little rattling noise, and unscrewing the case to put the batteries in was kind of annoying (why can't it just be a snap-on thing, like a TV remote?).

My roommate is really enjoying the drumming skills...she's been in her room for a while, with the door shut. Normally I would feel bad, but I had a long day (up since 6am, studying for a test at 2pm), so I'm treating myself to hours of RB.

is anyone noticing any of the drums rattling? my green drum rattles a bit. not affecting gameplay at all, but its just a little annoying and i hope there isnt something loose in there that could be harmful

X-Box 360 bundle here and not only did everything work perfectly, but the X-Plorer I bought used for GH3 (which I have returned because I see no point in owning that game as Rock Band blows it away) actually works BETTER on Rock Band than it did on Guitar Hero. I've used X-Plorer controllers on GH2 and GH3 and they always felt too tight. They feel better on Rock Band, more like the PS2 guitar controllers did for GH.

No complaints and I love it!

Second day and everything seems to be working good so far. No strum bar problems, which is my biggest fear.

My strum bar worked on and off for a while, but now it's working flawlessly. I'm so happy. The only times I haven't been playing is while I sleep or get up to get the occasional bite of food.

My friends and I played a solid five hours, not to mention a good three hours by myself on mic, and switching to guitar later, and so far everything is fine. The one weird thing I found was that my Strat guitar doesn't work when I plug it in through the USB hub, but works fine when plugged into the console. Anyone else have that problem?

Sorry to ruin the thread, but my strum bar failed today. Contacted support, a new one should be on the way tomorrow, hopefully.

Update: have a tracking number that UPS recognizes. No word on when it will actually ship, though. Not even an e-mail from EA.
