Just curious if there are any other Alaskans that are on here? Also if you have gotten the game yet and from where?
My brother did a Pre-Order from Gamestop so he SHOULD be picking it up pretty soon. And I plan on doing the run around to the Wal-marts, BB etc.... Pretty much just for fun to see if I can find one.
Anyways, it's freaking COLD!

Well, I normally live in Alaska, but am actually attending college in Washington right now. Is there snow already?

I grew up in Alaska but now live in Minnesota (I didn't upgrade in the temperature department a whole lot). Good luck finding the game!
(Got mine and it works great.)

I'm in Anchorage, trying to find a PS3 bundle for a Christmas gift for the family. I work at Best Buy, so I'm barred from purchasing there until mid-December or so.
6AM: Wal-Mart on C: no PS3 bundles.
7AM: Fred Meyer on Northern Lights: no Rock Band at all yet, coming in between 12 and 3PM - when I'm in classes.
7:15AM: Fred Meyer on Abbott, same story, apparently all FM are getting them late.
8:15AM: Run home and get the Sam's Club membership from my mother, call over there (they opened at 7AM) and they say they have some, I have them hold one, but the guy apparently grabs a 360 one when I specifically said for the PS3. I go check the shelf and I missed the last one by about 30 seconds.
8:45AM: They call the other store, who says they have 10 copies, but when I went there 10 minutes later they were all gone. They said something about someone buying 3 at once.
I remember Toys R Us was getting 2 PS3 bundles in, and they open at 9. I make breakneck speed over there, and there's already a line. 4 people in line for the PS3 bundle, and only 2 available.
I call Costco, because someone said at Wal-Mart that they were getting 18 or so for the PS3, but the Dimond location says they have 6 in transit, but probably not arriving until Friday (gotta work at the big blue box all day Friday, so that's a no go.)
Best Buy already opened today, I haven't been in there, but we should have had about 100 360 bundles, and the PS3 bundles were delayed, so we will have none until probably Friday or Saturday.
The first Wal-Mart had about 6 360 ones, probably all gone now. The first Sam's Club had 2 360 bundles left, and the second Sam's Club had 1 360 bundle left. Toys R Us had about 7 360 bundles left. I guess everyone in Anchorage has a PS3!

Dude that sucks! Yeah I picked mine of from Bestbuy, took me a minute to find them lol. But you guys had TONS (I even took a pic on my cell, about the nerdiest thing I have EVER done in public), but I am going to post it on these forums. I was there about 1pm ish or so. Can't believe we got so many sent up here.
Did you check gamestop at all? One of my co-workers was there around 2pm ish and said he could have SWORN he say acouple of ps3 bundles, but those could have been for pre-orders or something. I also have a friend (fool is sitting right next to me), that works at the Debarr Costco I will ask him to keep a eye for the PS3 version and I will send you a PM if he gives me any news.

I was just in the store a bit ago and we still had a pretty sizable stack there. Unfortunately (for some) those are all 360 versions. Apparently we received 4 of our 10 inbound PS3 versions.
