Well, the game was really fun for the first few seconds I got to play it. I didn't even get to try the drums yet. =[

Well mine came back from repair a few weeks ago so I shouldn't encounter the same error my system broke 7 times already. I am really sorry about this I know how much it $ucks to be put in that situation. Just make sure to get some free stuff out of Ms for compensation.

If you have a friend with a 360 you should call him up and tell him to bring his system. Try and make a tiny bit of lemonade out of this massively sour lemon you've just been dealt by having a little RB party, but making one of the guests bring the console.
At least that way you would get to play it sooner.

I think the 360 has a mind of its own, and it can read yours. It knows when you're highly anticipating a game, and dies right when it comes out.
I mean, I heard a lot of people's dying for BioShock and Halo 3 and they really really wanted those games. I personally didn't care that much about it, so when I played the games, my 360 was still alive. But Rock Band...GAH.

if it makes you feel any better, my PS3 died on me last week, so we're in the same boat. and if you want some irony, i was waiting on my 5 free blu-ray movies for 2 months (that's when I bought my PS3), and they showed up yesterday a week after my PS3 bites it. Now I'm waiting on a cardboard coffin to get a new system. and i was REALLY stoked for this one. damnit.

I think it seems that way because the red ring of death is an overheating issue and games that are graphically intense (like anticipated hardcore AAA games) stress the hardware more. You probably won't hear too many stories of people getting the red ring of death just after starting to play Zuma.

Well, my friend let me borrow his 360 for the Thanksgiving holiday since he'll be out of town, so I've been enjoying Rock Band for a while now. It's great. Though I think that practicing my drumming might be a waste, 'cause I'll probably forget what I learned by the time I get my 360 back from MS.
