Band Name created

I just started playing Rockband 1 on PS2 and only my name of my band was entered into the sytem, The other night i came home and another band was entered but no songs were played. my question is, can band names be automatically entered from the game or software, i am kinda freaking out because otherwise that means someone has broken into my apartment and played my game.

lol, I find it humorous to think someone broke in and played your game. I'm pretty sure if I was that person, I would have just stolen it. To answer your question though, the game does not add bands to your profile.

Odds are that:

A) a roommate or friend started a new band while you weren't there or weren't paying attention.

B) you and your friends/roommates started a new band but you were too blitzed at the time to remember.

If someone had broken into your house/apartment, I'm sure they'd have better things to do than start a new band in Rock Band.
