Weezer has to win.

Weezer is a pretty innovative band, with normally clever lyrics. Paramore relies on catchiness, with pretty shallow lyrics. That appeals to many, and I respect that, but I've never been a fan.

Disagreed. Paramore makes very shallow songs that don't differentiate much from each other. Weezer makes very different, experimental songs. I don't see how Paramore gets off being good, while Weezer gets off as being mediocre.

As for "hot singer"... judging musical ability off of the members appearance is awful. It's the only reason the Jonas Brothers are popular.
