Granted, I give all classics and legends the credit they deserve to be put into the final setlist, but what about newer artists? I'll name a few:

System of a Down
My Chemical Romance
Flyleaf
Three Grace
Avenged Sevenfold
Breaking Benjamin
Nickelback
Linkin Park
Godsmack
KoRn
Disturbed
Slipknot
Stonesour

I'm just suggesting, I hope the list isn't all just classics, but though I'm sure it won't be, just consider with me for a second or so.

Thanx for reading :)

i wouldnt have the patience to play a my chemical romance song more than once at most, their music just annoys me so much. It actually makes me happy to know they get piss thrown at them at music festivals.

I don't seem to understand what the deal is with everybody bashing My Chemical Romance. It seems as though anytime they are mentioned, someone has to make some sort of snooty remark regarding how much they suck or something along those lines. I understand that there are people out there who don't like them, but come on, give them some credit... at least you know who they are right. I think that's saying something. BTW, their latest album is their best without a doubt. They've pretty much left the entire "emo" scene with it.

Thank you very much, fiyero, I agree totally.

yo fragpirate. I speak a few different languages, and sarcasm is one that I am quite fluent in. If you actually read the lyrics and listened to the songs, you would understand that they are not emo. Just become someone writes about death, it doesn't automatically deem them emo. Get real. I'd like to see you write something better.

I'm glad to know that you dislike MCR and all, and thanks for considering all of the other bands listed, but hey, what do I know, right? Just go to forums and single out one subject to bash and leave the rest undiscussed. Great job, bud, you are my IDOL. But if you recognize sarcasm as well as you do "EMO" music, then you'll probably think I MEANT what I said.

okay, now we're really getting emo here. killing in the name was good for GH2, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. that's really the only decent rage against the machine song.

In your opinion, bud. I'm sure there's people that dislike YOUR music choice, too. This game is probably going to include what you like AND dislike, so live with it.

Hey, I liked killing in the name, don't get me wrong. rage against the machine just doesn't have other songs that can live up to that. no need to get touchy about these things.....

Play nice kids. :D

Anywho, out of the bands on that list, I could handle Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, and possibly some older Korn. I don't really like any of the others or much modern music, for that matter.

Yeah, unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of well-balanced songs for Rock Band from today's era. I'd love to see some SOAD though.
