I've read a few others having this issue. My "Wah Wah" and "None" settings work, but nothing in between. The little selection screen only pops up when the effects switch is all the way down or all the way up. Is this a faulty guitar? Anyone else have this issue?

That sounds like a faulty switch. :(

The onscreen selection shows up when I move the switch but I don't notice any difference in the sound between modes. I've only played a few songs so far on guitar but I imagine I should have noticed an immediate change in the sound. Drums also stopped working properly after less than an hour.

Echo and reverb are subtle to the untrained ear. Flange is less so. Try turning up the volume on the guitar and down on everything else. That should give you an idea of what to listen for.

best song to test the effects in so far is Weezer's intro. Very clean, so you can hear everything - obviously you want have the Overdrive, but that intro riff happens at the end and in the middle once I think too.

The Flanger and Echo are very hard to hear in some songs.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot although my range of hearing is pretty decent. I'll try Weezer as suggested above. Cheers.
