I bought my Rock Band in USA a couple of months ago, and i am from Sweden.

Now, when it is released, in Sweden I have problems downloading new songs to the game.

When I am entering “music store” from the game it says “purchased” on all songs. I have no problems downloading the songs from the Playstation store and install them as well. But when I am starting the game after the installation it won´t occur in the game – I am not able to play the song.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem, please help me!

Are you using a Euro PS3? You may have screwed yourself if you mix a region's disc/system/DLC store. First thing I would try is deleting all RB game data from your PS3 and forcing it to rebuild. I can't comment on this authoritatively though. Good luck.

Yes, i am using a PS3 bought in Sweden and a Rock Band bought in USA. May that be a problem?

And if so. Are there anything to do to fix this?

I have the exact same problem. PS3 bought in Sweden and Rock Band imported from USA. If someone can fix this problem please let us know.
It's not very funny when I purchased some songs and can't use them.

I'm almost 100% sure you're both running into some kind of region issue. If you're in Europe, you need a Euro PS3, and a Euro copy of Rock Band when you connect to the Music Store. I highly doubt there's anything you can do short of buying a Euro copy of RB. Who knows if the saved game data would be compatible however. I'm betting your music downloads would work once you got a Euro copy of RB. Borrow a friend's EURO copy and see if it works. Good luck.

You don't really need an Euro PS3 as all PS3 games aren't region locked so can be used on any console from any region eg US PS3 can use EU PS3 game discs, as well as US discs of course and vice-versa. You get really stiffed on the DLC though as pretty much all I've read about/had experience of doesn't work if you get the DLC from one region but your game disc is from another one e.g I downloaded a free song for Guitar Hero 3 a while ago from the US PSN store using my US account but it didn't work with mu UK version of the game.

Also now it seems pretty difficult to be able to pay for the US DLC now so is it really worth importing now anyway?

You need to use the US PSN store for DLC if you have a US disc. To be able to use that, you need to make a PSN account that uses a real US address.

The only problem is linking a credit card to your US PSN account. Since you're in Sweden, you might be in luck... a lot of Scandinavian users have been able to link their regular card to their US wallet. If that's not possible, I'm afraid your only option is to get PSn point cards from the US off eBay.

I created a new PS-network account, whit a american adress and i used my Swedish Visa card. There was no problems at all.
