Okay, asking for a whole game would be kinda greedy, though it'd be worth it to see the trombone and trumpet controllers. But I digress, so instead I shall submit to you some ska songs off the top of my head that would do wonderfully.
1. Plan B - The Impossibles
2. The Science of Selling Yourself Short - Less Than Jake
3. On and On and On - Catch 22 OR Streetlight Manifesto, whatever your preference
4. Crackrock Steady - Choking Victim
5. Beer - Reel Big Fish
6. Hedgecore - Operation Ivy
7. Monkey Man - Toots and the Maytals
8. All Outta Angst - NOFX
9. Born to Die - Choking Victim
10. Sound System - Operation Ivy
11. This One Goes Out To... - Streetlight or Catch, again either one rocks
12. The Impression That I Get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones

ya because Ska Band would obviously come before
Metal Band
Country Band
Punk Band
Pop Band
not enough people would buy those games let alone Ska Band. Please don't kid yourself. Not sure how people can digress after one sentence.

Don't really see the need for a second game, but on the subject of the genre... Beer is a great song.
Here's the one I want though. The song that first turned me on to the idea that real music artists would put real songs in games as background music: Superman by Goldfinger. Anyone who's ever played the original Tony Hawk knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Also missing Mustard Plug, The Specials, Bomb the Music Industry!, The Arrogant Sons of *****es, Big D & The Kids Table, The Hippos, Mad Caddies, Rancid, Smash Mouth, Suburban Legends, The Suicide Machines, Westbound Train, Madness, Etc...
And for some other bands I forgot/non-US bands/non-ska bands with ska songs...
They Might Be Giants, The Offspring, [spunge], Ska Ska Club, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, illScarlett, The Forces of Evil, Kemuri, Potshot...
I could go on for quite a while, so I'll end there instead.

Just to clarify, my suggestion for 'Ska Band' was largely satirical, and I agree that while I'd love it, most wouldn't and I'd just have to buy enough plastic saxaphones to support Harmonix entirely.
At any rate, I love all the suggestions! My off-hand command of ska songs is limited.

then why even make a thread suggesting Ska Band? Why not keep it simple and make a Ska song suggestion thread.

Streetlight would most likely get "On On and On" and "This One Goes Out To..." because Tom would want it like that.
While on the subject of Streetlight, I would love to have "Here's To Life".
Some more suggestions for more ska bands would be Save Ferris, Oreskaband, Beat Crusaders, and a few other Japanese Ska bands.
As Tvae pointed out there are alot other bands that would work out great for this.

Uhm... that's kind of what this was? Notice how in this thread, I suggested several [I]Ska songs[I].

If they make Ska Band they have to add this achievement:
100% a ska song on Expert guitar. Upstrums only.
I'll agree with and add: less than jake, spring heeled jack (look them up they're amazing), five iron frenzy, big d, and throw in bostones, reel big fish, rancid, and catch 22 for good measure.

A Better Place, A Better Time.
That song in Rock Band would just blow my mind.
