Could the 360 USB Hub be the root of all these issues?

Hello All,

I bought the game early this morning for the 360 but had to go to work :( But I figured I could read the forum and hear all the raves throughout the day and that would get me through. Now I am worried with all the issues people are having with all the instruments. Some have said that there USB hub doesn't even work at all. I have not had a chance to read every post about the problems but wondered if the people experiencing instrument issues tried bypassing the hub to see if that may be the cause. I know I am going to go that route when I get home.

Just a thought.

EDIT: turns out I am ******ed and needed to have the 360 on for the hub to work. I was trying to power on the system with the drums and guitar well I am stupid.

the hub is absolute crap and very cheap
i took my first one back when it didn't work

while the other one works it still doesn't feel good and the cables are short so i bought a powered one from walmart for 20 bucks and it has a long cord, nice, reliable and everythign is perfect now!!!

i recommend buying another hub

Well...my guitar is now screwing up....it seems to double register the strum, which in effect...makes you FAIL...I had it in the hub at the time...took the hub out of the picture and restarted my XBox...still double strumming....

I remember last night the FIRST thing I thought when I picked up the guitar and looked at it...the strum is DELICATE and I didn't like it.

I tell you what. IF there is not an OFFICIAL response to this within a few days....I am returning it.

Ok if I'm going to play 1 instrument at a time, do I even need to use the hub? People have sort of said "well I guess..." but I just want to know, will the strat or drums mess my xbox up, I mean they can't be that much more hardcore than the GH2 one right?

I will say this...the hub feels extremely cheap.
