It's dawned on me that regardless of who's fault it is, people should at least be aware that Guitar Hero guitars don't work with RockBand on the PS3. I'm not blaming anyone, but it's obvious someone dropped the ball on this one in a big way and at the very least, people should know about it.

Wow, just got home and got pissed because the game wouldn't recognize this. "Most guitar peripherals?" If the damn Guitar Hero controller won't work, what other ones will? What a joke. Guess I'll have to go right back to Game Crazy and trade this back in. What a waste.
Wow, this just blows my mind. First Guitar Hero 3 won't work online (ANY game I try to join: "Join Game Failed"), and now this. What is going on?

Yeah except that they neglected to mention that at the time they didn't have a PS3 copy to test, but decided to post it in the PS3 section anyway. It's this article that led a lot of people (like me) to assume that the Les Paul would work with RB, and buy GHIII solely for that purpose.
So the only people I'm really pissed off at in any way about the situation is IGN.

Ironically, both issues you've brought up belong there.
Edit: I support the OP, by the way. Spreading info is always super.

You think this is Digg-worthy? A supporting controller from a separate company doesn't work with a first company's released game? Another thing to dilute the remaining worth of the Digg concept...

I absolutely think it's digg-worthy or I wouldn't have posted it.
Regardless of who's at fault, people should know. Digg isn't all about what's on the front page you know. People use Digg to search for all kinds of industry-related news.
