Is the strumbar on the Rock Band 2 Strat supposed to be this sensitive? I can't rest my thumb above it, because the lightest nudge will set it off, so I constantly find myself breaking my note streak. For a lot of the fast songs in RB2, it works a lot better, but I just played Say It Ain't So, something I get gold stars on every time, and I got four stars.. I don't really care about scores or any of that, but dropping down into the yellow during the intro of one of the easiest songs in either game.. is pretty frustrating. :p

EDIT:

I'm thinking the fact that it's wireless might soon be its downfall, 'cause it'd be a lot easier to do a Pete Townshend and smash it to bits. It's doing this on every song now, so I can't five star hardly anything, and I can tell it's going to really suck in groups, because my brother and my uncle are score whores.

EDIT Numero Dos:

After recalibrating it for the third time, it's stopped registering double notes as often. Hoping it's just one of those things that you have to get used to, unlike our drums which have an insane amount of cross-talk. Between the guitar and the drums, we'd be lucky to have a note streak of two.

In my opinion, the new strum bar is absolutely horrible. As Stated it is very easy to break note streaks.

If you take a plastic Wal Mart bag, pull it semi taught and use that as the strum bar, that is what the "New" strum bar feels and sounds like. Very annoying.

I just got thte guitar yesterday and already sent for a replacement.
