ok so I obviously know that rock band includes players to play online or offline
one player at guitar,bass,vocals,and drums and that each player creates thier own
avatar and moves on stage. But the question I'm really asking is that when you formed
a band online how do the songs work does the band just play one song and then has another
choice just like in the guitar Heros 1 and 2? or does each player pick the song they want?
how do you know what songs ur playing?

and does rock band also include different level choices for each player (online and offline)
for example:

Guitarist picks Expert
Bassist Picks Medium
Drummer Picks Hard
Vocals picks whatever?

Each player should be able to pick their own difficulty level, yes. Depending on what the "Rock Band" career is (which is a seperate career to other instruments according to the GI article) it may work out that to progress through it all players will have to be on the same level of difficulty. If this was the case then there would probably also be a free play online mode.

As for who picks the songs... I got no idea.
