So I pulled my copy of Rock Band out of the box, set it up and tried to get my GH3 Les Paul to work with it. Unfortunately I failed in my effort so I did a little research and learned that it's not compatible with Rock Band for the PS3. In my research I found this most valuable article at IGN http://ps3.ign.com/articles/830/830792p1.html which talks about what is compatible with what.
Thought it might be helpful for the rest of you guys who want to use your existing guitars to form a full band.
