that's known as 'open hand' drumming, not southpaw.
you could try playing with the right hand setup and playing cross, with your left hand crossing over your right to play the 'hi-hat'? or just suck it up and play with the stock right hand setup, it can't be that hard; as an open hand drummer you must presumably play ride cymbal regularly with your right hand, so it's not like you can't do it.

yes it's not your browser, the board is buggy. the times are all screwy. same thing happened to me in another thread. i see your reply as the first post too, although from the preview pane on the main forum i know which one is the OP :)

i was afraid this was gonna happen. for those drummers out there, im a left handed drummer that plays south paw. and when i chose "left mode" i thought it was only going to change the red pad to the hi-hat and yellow pad to the snare. but oh was i wrong. the completely reversed the whole setup on left mode!! wtf?!
anywho, i guess what they did was not my idea of playing "lefty". and so i was wondering if anyone has tried (or knows how to) modding the drum kit by switching the red/yellow pad sensors or somethin?
is there anyone out there that shares my problem?

Why wouldn't that be what you want? You'd want to do fills left-hand lead, which would mean the crash would be to your far left and everything else on the right.

because like i mentioned i play "south paw". as in im a left handed drummer and i play w/ a right-handed setup.
i.e. Left Hand hits hi-hat, Right hand hits snare, Right foot hits bass pedal.

and yes it is called southpaw, because im not playing open hand w/ my right hand hitting the hi hat that situated on the right side.
