Bands That Should Be On RB

So, my co-workers and I were discussing some things and i wondered why it was that the most popular/well known song by an artist isnt put into Rock Band. We figure its cheaper to get the other less well known songs by the artists.

So, we were talking about bands that are very well known that for some reason arent on there and we came up with the following:

Slipknot
Rammstein
Marilyn Manson
TooL
Silverchair
Godsmack
Puddle of Mud
Nickleback
Deftones
A Perfect Circle
Creed
A Dust For Life
Otep
Dethklok
Trivia
The Doors
Guns and Roses
Powerman 5000
Rob Zombie
Chevelle
Mudvayne
Taproot

Just wondering if anyone has an explaination for why the current band's that are in the game dont have their most popular songs on here, and also why these well-known bands arent on there at all.

Some of those bands I would buy whatever harmonix releases from them, but some bands it'll depend on the song chosen (like Slipknot)

Hi welcome to the rock band Ultimate Setlist Forum.
I suggest you take the tour, it is a short one, and can be found under the search function the sixth one from the left, fourth line down.

Most of the bands that you have listed the are and will be found using that funtion. However please feel free to also use the "request a song" function located at the bottom of the page, and you can submit said bands/songs directly to harmonix.

For the record this is not ment to be a smart azz post, i am mearly letting you know before you get flamed by people with tastes that differ from yours, like the poster before me who had to post lolno srsly Just uncalled for and pretty self centered to dash someones tastes in music.
