This is the first time I've been on the Rock Band boards since launch and I'm reading a lot about a bunch of complaints, both minor and major. But I haven't seen many threads about people actually enjoying the game. So here goes:
Thanks Harmonix for creating the best music game ever. It's not perfect, but it is head and shoulders above anything else out there.
I have some small complaints, but those can wait... I've got more songs to unlock :)
agreed, there have been many "thank you" threads before but in my opinion there hasn't been enough. I would just like to say that this game is utterly breath taking and i haven't even played BWT yet, just solo campaigns. The art, loading screens, interface, etc are absolutely gorgeous, the improvements from there past games is spectacular.
I would also like to say Good Job to Neversoft for putting glitter on a macaroni picture, before GH2 fans go crazy what I mean is that they didn't do anything to progess the series (in a positive way anyways, hehehe)
Amazing work harmonix, i was worried about the difficulty of guitars but then i played the Metallica DLC pack and I believe you owe me a new pair of pants. The guitar sections in the game for the most part are pretty easy but they are incredibly fun to play. Looking forward to future DLC, don't skimp out ;)

Thanks Harmonix! This game is totally KICK A**!! As a musician (drummer) Ii would recommend this game to anyone who wants to learn! My son decided he wanted to learn the drums so I put him on Rock Band. He is all ready getting 5 stars on medium! Thanks Harmonix keep up the good work, and maybe you should buy Activision and Neversoft a coffin!

Lovin' it here as well. We're had no problems at all, and we've been a 4 person band most of the day. We're even all at medium+ on the drums. We didn't even get teh patch till a few minutes ago because we hadn't restarted the game in some time.
Heck, if I have one complaint, it would be that simply seeing the songs in BWT doesn't unlock them for Quickplay (you have to play them). I just wish there was an "unlock all songs" code for some normal quickplay time.
Overall, it totally lived up to the hype. My biggest gripe is that it seems like so few people even know of it's existance. We're trying to spread the word, but still.

Yeah, I'm loving this game! They did a great job with the Metallica tracks. You can actually hear the bass guitar on the And Justice For All tracks lol and it sounds amazing. All of my instruments are working fine. I'm wondering about the drums though. I'm not going to jump to conclusions yet, because it could be me just being a little off. But I've been playing the drums for 8 years and can definately keep a basic beat. And for some reason I can't keep a streak going. Just an easy red, yellow, and bass. I know I'm hitting it, but I keep loosing my streak. It looks like the red isn't responding when hitting the yellow and red together at times. But I know all the drums work fine. They all play fine in the tutorial and before songs. It's probably just me. I'll give it a few weeks to see.
But I'm 100% satisfied. I'm not complaining about the drums, just hoping its me that is sucking and not the drums lol. I've even done some singing. My first attempt was In Bloom on medium today and I got 5 stars so my mic works and it was fun. I just know I was not born to sing haha. I was born to jam!

You know, HMX, I thought that when I brought that dang box home I'd stop fantasizing about Rockband and the drums... I was wrong. I've been enjoying the game for a while now. I love every aspect of it and can't wait for full album DLC.
