My XBOX 360 game just updated . . .

I am guessing this is the patch that everyone has talked about . . . I guess they must have just released it because it updated a few minutes ago for me . . .

Patch for what? If you're thinking for the strum bar issue, that sounds like a hardware issue to me. No patch is gonna' fix that...

I don't know if the patch was meant to fix anything or not. I haven't had any problems with my games/hardware (knock on wood) I was just informing people that the 360 game has had the game update released.

When I logged onto my Xbox at around 8:00 it asked me if I wanted to update my game because one was available for whatever. So it downloaded and update but I'm not sure hwat has changed.

My strat was double/triple strumming on down strums before the patch, now it still double strums down on occasion but also will often not downstrum at all.

So no real progress made for myself.

Actually, that patch DID fix some of the guitars. Also messed up a few as well though.


Yup mine was working fine prior to the patch yesterday, then it started "randomly" triggering star power (i.e. sometimes I wouldn't move the guitar and Star Power would go off as soon as I had enough, other times it took an act of god to activate star power and I looked like a fool jumping around the room shaking the guitar trying to get it to trigger) and it started mis-reading the strums (it actually showed the note as hit then immediatly cut off the note and acted like I had actually missed it). Thing is everything was working fine until that patch. Hopefullly this one will fix it.

well my guitar n mic work fine the only thing im having a lil trouble with are my drums (maybe its me) alot of times when i hit the notes it wont hit. it looks like im hitting the notes perfect but it still misses... even threw the menues i have to hit the pads to moves threw the menues 2 or 3 times to get it the accept.. even after the update.. still the same.. like i said maybe its me... does any one else have a lil trouble with the drum set???

How did you take them back to best buy??? It clearly states on the paper in the box that all warranty issues have to be sent to ea and that the retail stores are not authorized to replace your broken equipment! Otherwise I'll be taking my guitar back to gamestop today!

I had to take my 360 drum set back to Best Buy as yellow was only working once in a while. New set works great.
