Hmmm...what exactly are the fret buttons for at the lower end of the guitar neck?

Guitar solo's. Only press the lower buttons during the solo, no need to strum. Try to do some tappin solos. It takes practice to get good at it but once you do, its awesome and you can put on a good show in front of your friends.

Yeah..I saw that in the tutorial, but it seemed I was still missing notes when I wouldn't strum on those frets during the solo, so I went back to the original fret buttons. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something...

They seem to be a bit smaller in size, and I went through the guitar tutorial, but still haven't really figured out what their purpose is??
