Mystery song loop problem

So, we're having a problem with the "mystery song" set list. Every time we select it, the mystery songs are always Weezer and Nirvana. Which is tolerable the first three or four times. But when we've played the mystery song list 15 times, and EVERY time those two songs are the first two in the set, I start to get suspicious.

Does Rock Band really intend for us all to slug through those two songs so many times? Or is there something wrong?

Have you unlocked other songs solo?

Yes, enough that we shouldn't be playing the same songs repeatedly. My current guess is that it's a software problem, as the screen also occasionally "glitches" - the entire thing flickers for a few seconds.
