View Full Version : What is wrong with my band's name?

When I first got RB1 I carried over the band name I have been using since GH1 - Loose Lips. As in "Loose lips sink ships" - both a wartime catchphrase and an AC/DC lyric. A week or two after using it, I got a message that my band name was being removed from the leaderboards because it was already in use. I searched rockband.com's band list for any band name including the word "loose", but I have never seen another "Loose Lips".

Now with RB2 I again tried the name. No complaints from the game when I signed up with "Loose Lips" this time, but I still don't see that name assigned to me under "My Bands", or appearing in any band name search.

I can't believe it was flagged as inappropriate with band names like "Loose Stools" out there.

So, what's going on?

No, idea this community is horrible so far.
Even one of the administrators ( hmxsean ) has spam all over his testimonial area.

Have you registered your online code from in the game to your rockband.com account? I'm a member of rockband.com, I'm on PSN and I have rock band. But you won't find any my band's information on the site because I never linked my rb account to my psn id using the in-game code.

I did for RB1 - a different band I created is associated with my account here...

Further reading makes it sound like no one's RB2 stuff has made it here yet, so I may still have some hope...

That's correct, the website does not update with RB2 info (bands, characters, scores, etc.) yet. Watch the Announcements forum for info on the new website.

Yeah, I dont believe any RB2 stuff has come to the web yet...

Here's hoping that they will make a good RB2 community site and deliver on all the promises of the 1st one.
