I don't want to sound in any way ungrateful, because I got the game today and I love it. Also, I realize that they wanted to keep the experience as "true to playing real music as possible", but I feel like if I spend 170+ dollars on something, I should be able to tweak it to my liking. Hyperspeed is not about an increased ease of play. I just feel like the notes freakin' CRAWL on normal speed. Kind of dissapointed. If it's a multiplayer issue...disable it on live matches :P

Well I mean, it becomes a matter of preference. Yeah, you can say that you spent $170 on something and you should get what you want, but the amount of features we would have to put in would be endless. There's an absolutely enormous amount of content (head to head modes for every instrument, a fully functional co-op touring mode, solo modes for three instruments, online band quick play - and that's not even mentioning any of the character creator stuff, which is one of the best CCs I have honestly ever seen in any game) in the game, so it would be extremely difficult to cater to everybody's tastes.

It's not that I don't totally agree with you, because I do. I think that they shot for the stars with this game, and the attention to detail is more than appreciated. However, I'm not talking about putting every user request into the game. That's just ridiculous. Hyperspeed was already in a Harmonix game(GHI/II), and I am having separation anxiety. I'm just an energetic type, and I liked having the notes come a little quicker. Keeps me on my toes. So while I can understand your point, it just seems like it should have been an available option. Considering almost every rhythm game ever made has included a speed increase option. Once again, this is not meant to be ungrateful, it was just sort of a confusing omission as far as I'm concerned.
