I sit here, reading on the forums, some with problems, some happy about the game... even thanking HMX, watching some videos on YouTube. I, unlike you, am not rocking out to Rock Band and sharing your joys and problems because I live north of the border. All day, thinking ... I could be playing Rock Band right now, but no. I have to wait an extra month. Just knowing that the game is release and I can't get my hands on it because I live to far from our neighbors from the south. So I ask of you dear Americans, rock out hard with Rock Band, and make us Canucks proud of being part of a good community such as Rock Band. We will be joining you soon over XBL or PSN. Enjoy the game and the thought of knowing that you are the only ones in the world rocking out to such a fabulous game. Keep on rocking in the free world... and post lots of videos!!
And to those Canadians that DO have Rock Band.... you lucky S.O.B's :P

Me and Dshiz call it the "splooge" when the guitar activates when not wanting it to, it shoots a stream up the tv, I shall now start calling it ManJuice instead :D

Dear Americans,
I was scared to open this topic. I thought it was more Canadian porn.
I was glad I was wrong ....

We PS2ers need the love as much as the Canadians.
PS: I'd add the appropriate smilies here but they too are now broken in the forum.

All I can say is that I feel your pain on waiting for the game, being that I have it I guess thats easy to say, but I can tell you when you do get it you will not be dissapointed. The overall feel of the game is just amazing. I hope to see you all online once you do get it, till then be well.
PS. I never knew how something as little as the crowd singing along to the song can get me that amp'd.

I feel your pain, Juice, I really do, because I don't have RockBand yet either, even being an American. I have, however, pre-ordered, but it won't even begin to be processed for shipping until Friday, not exactly as bad of a wait as for you and the rest of Canada, as well as PS2 hold-outs. I still have to wait while a friend of mine sits and plays RockBand over our five day weekend/Thanksgiving break.

I know it sounds a little lame, but man you're right. When the crowd starts singing a long I just get this really "bad ass" feeling :D I'd say it's a lot better than playing my Gibson or Kramer alone in the dark. When they said big things come in small packages they weren't lying. A really small feature but a big effect, good job HMX :D

K Im not complaining all that much. You guys have known all along that you wouldnt be getting it for a while.. we got this last minute and it was kind of a punch to the nuts to us. They said the street date for NORTH AMERICA was Nov. 20th... last time I checked my map... Canada is in North America

If you put a positive spin on it, the extra month might help smooth over the hardware so you guys experience fewer failures.
Be strong, I know it must be crazy reading reviews and not able to try it yourself. :)

yeah I hope they improve stuff cause I've read a lot of complaining about the guitar, drums and mic... but then again when have we NOT heard complaining about the peripherals in a rythm game :P

Keep in mind that the first thing people do when something isn't working is come to the forums.
The last thing people do when everything is working great is come to the forums.
For this reason, the number of negative "issues" on boards like these always outweigh the number of happy customers.

Yup Americans got a sweet deal with Rock Band. We canadians got screwed on the release date but if you think that's bad, wait till you see the DLC prices. Paying up to 65% percent more than what americans pay just because we're north of the border really shows the love.

Well, you know what the problem is... Now all you need to do is to solve it. Cross the border and buy it here!

Or fly overseas to buy it, right?
Apples hit it on the head - it's killing me seeing all these reviews, seeing the DLC, the videos that are popping up like wildfire on You Tube - and I still don't even have a release date for the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
