Game Skips

been playing drums for a couple hours now, working fine...go to try out the strat, and it doesnt work completely so after about an hour of trying different things with the strat, i concluded that my strat doesn't work and i'll need a new one...so after i got over the fact that i cant use the new cool strat, i head back to the drums...turn the xbox on again and the first few hits of the song the song starts to skip, making it impossible to play.

sucks, now i'm stuck here and cant play Rock Band period!

I'm having problems with the forum skipping.

Is it always the same song?
Only happened that one time?
Scratched disc?

happens on every song.

cant be a scratched disc, its only been out of th case for 2 hours and hasent left the xbox.
