Seriously, I've been listening to The Stooges a lot the last couple of days and they would be perfect for RB. Every instrument is fun and most of their songs are pure genius. Anyone else want some of them?

There's nothing wrong with re-recording. Motorhead did it for Ace Of Spades. Plus the production on the self titled album is awesome, it's just Funhouse and Raw Power which had poor production. The bigger problem, especially with the first album is if the masters still exist.
