sounds like a bad idea, there plenty of team killing already going on in online shooters, there is no need to reward them for doing so

EDIT: wtf, how did my post end up on top of yours

If this isn't sending a bunch of mixed signals I don't know what is...from NextGen (http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8013&Itemid=53):

Turok for Xbox 360 will reward annoying players who kill their team-mates and then themselves with achievement points.

According to CVG (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=175973), dino-shooter Turok will feature a Grab Bag achievement which rewards gamers with ten achievement points for killing at least one creature, one enemy, one team-mate and themselves in the same round of a public match.

Is there anything more annoying than spotting an enemy, stealthily avoiding their gaze, and then lining up a kill only to be popped by one of your own at the last second? Xbox Live’s already swamped with kids who think it’s hilarious to go kamikaze on anyone in their path without the incentive of a reward – the Grab Bag achievement therefore sounds like the ideal recipe for online anarchy, and not in a good way.

No console game with friendly fire enabled can succeed, too many morons playing.

They really need to add more options to your servers when there is online play. You should be able to take friendly fire off and such =\ I really like it when FF is on, especially during a war shooter because it adds more "realism" if you shoot a teammate they get hurt. However if there are a bunch of idiots playing that think it's funny to TK everyone, I rather it be off.

I personally think it is their attempt to get some attention, I think the game is going to suck. Personally, on the PS3 end, I will be too busy with UT3 and HAZE to give a crap about Turok, and my experiences with team killers in Warhawk have already told me the last thing I need is for the game to reward them for being an idiot---no thanks.
