It was fine before I did the patch and now it doesn't work right.

The patch is giving some people problems:
Try uninstalling via:
Dashboard
system -> memory -> device otions (when hard drive selected)
then x, x, LB, RB, x, x
This will pop up a 'This will perform maintenance on your xbox' window.
Hit yes.
This will uninstall all updates on the hard drive.
You probably want to not reconnect the xbox to the network until
this is resolved (to avoid re-downloading the update)

I don't know what patch you huys are getting but I've had rockband on almost all day and haven't got a patch at all on my 360, neither has anyone else I know.....

I was playing just a few minutes ago and after a song, a prompt popped up telling me there was an update available. I clicked no because I was reading here that it was screwing up peoples' guitars, and mine is working just fine.
I play on the 360.

I was looking forward to finishing guitar career tonight!, and I have family coming in tomorrow that want to play. My GH2 controller refuses to bring up my profile also

Actually, it should prompt you whether you want to redownload it.
So in theory you should be able to 'just say no'.

I get double hits when i down stroke on my guitar. Started happening after the patch. Doesn't happen on the explorer, though. Hopefully this is a patchable issue. If not, I'm more that willing to send it in for a replacement while I use the explorer.

Yeah, that happened to my guitar too. I'm sure once the guys at HMX get back into the office tomorrow (they're enjoying some well earned time at home, I hope) I'm sure they'll work to getting this fixed ASAP. Remember, they want to play online, too.

Whats wierd is that I don't have my 360 connected to the net but as soon as I put Rock Band on, it said that I needed to download a patch. So does that mean some bundles came with the patch & some didn't?
