missing 8th notes for no reason

Anyone else have an issue where you hit a pad on 8th notes on the yellow pad, and for no reason at all 1 of the notes counts like you missed it or didn't hit the pad at all?

I'll be playing a song and for no reason my combo count gets reset b/c a note that I hit doesn't register. I'm going to try the tape idea from another post, but just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

what exactly are u taping? im wondering if thats what will work for my problem. my green pad is picking up nothing at all, and when it did work i experienced the same problem u are having. so what do i need to tape?

I'm having the same issue. At first I just thought my timing wasn't perfect. But I can't even get a streak going during a basic beat between the red, yellow, and bass. This is keeping me from being able to 5 star anything. I think I five starred 2 songs on the drums so far. But the notes its saying I missed I know I hit. For instance during the basic beat, when i have to hit the yellow with the red. I am hitting them both at the exact same time but its saying I missed the red some of the time. Very frustrating.

look up "my drum pad doesn't pick up single drum rolls" in the threads. Apparently carefully wrapping medical tape around the pad might work in making it more responsive.
