Trouble with Mic (360 version)

Hey all.

Just got Rock Band last night, and have been playing it all day after I got out of my classes for break, and am loving it so far. However, I seem to have run into a brick wall.

For most of the day, my mates and I were all playing the separate instruments with no problems, and then about an hour ago, the microphone stopped registering. Whenever we tried to sign in with the microphone with the controller, it would say "Microphone not detected." We unplugged and replugged the USB hub, put the mic in the 360 USB slot, reset the console, the controller, everything we could think of, but to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem and/or have a solution to it? Any help would be mucho appreciated.

Wow, your mic was working at all? Since I opened the box, my 360 isn't even registering the durned thing. At all.

You have to turn on the controller for the 360 when you start the game. The regular controller tells RB that the mic is there.

Luckily I came here last night and got on the clue train that you had to activate one of your regular controllers to use the mic. This is how you make menu selections...

request a replacement from ea asap
