Tell me what you think of this one.

I think the same of it as I think of The 1st who pack

And that is that I don't care enough about them to pay 160 actual points that costed money per song especially since usually when they do put stuff out that I do actually want its only 80 points so that just makes it seem like paying 2X the price for stuff I don't want lol

I think I'd like to have Can't Explain in there somewhere.
But I also have a soft spot for 1921.

Love, Reign O'er Me. It has a lot of piano, I know, but I think there would be good parts for everyone if I remember correctly.

I love the Who, but they need to focus on some other bands before they start releasing more of the same artists

We need the rest of "Tommy" & "Quadrophenia" in Rock Band.

We also need the rest of "Who's Next". Masters have to exist somewhere for the missing songs.

I think that playing the first Who pack broke my drum set. I don't want to break my replacement set with more of the same. :p

I think the live version of "Quick One" would do that band so much more justice.

I edited it slightly. Switched one song, and switched one studio for live. It shouldn't change anyones opinions too much, just my own.

Also, to why we shouldn't have Tommy and Quadrophenia...

Take songs like Helpless Dancer. It has no drums, OR bass.
Also, take songs like Miracle Cure. 13 seconds long, they clearly aren't meant for Rock Band.

HOWEVER!

Live at Leeds side B (Tommy) would be so awesome.

Then pull an "instrumental" on those songs and merge Miracle Cure with the next song in the album?

Also, there is a distinct lack of "Love, Reign O'er Me" that saddens me. ._.
At least there is "The Real Me". :) My favorite Who song. :)

I'd only get The Seeker and I Can See for Miles out of that list.

Bargain is most certainly a lost master, so that one might be good to replace. I'd buy anything by the Who, even an It's Hard downloadable album. I just hope that there are enough surviving master tracks of "hits" to sell another pack. Looking at the first Who pack, I'm still not sure whether they intended it to be the be-all, end-all of The Who or pack one of two or even three. I'm hoping for the latter.

What makes you think Bargain is a lost master? If they had planned on throwing out the entire Who's Next album, I think they'd have masters.

Lost masters were the entire reason we didn't get the entire Who's Next album. I don't want to dig it all back up, but there's a DVD you can get on the recording of Who's Next produced about 10 years ago, and it clearly shows which tracks have multi-track recordings, but three or four songs are missing, Bargain being one of them. If I remember correctly, The Song is Over, Getting in Tune and Love Ain't For Keeping were the others, though I may be misremembering on the last two. Regardless, it even showed that Baba had some tracks that were glued together, which is why the drum, bass and guitar tracks behave strangely when notes are missed in RB.

So there is a chance of getting "My Wife" then?

I'm a Who fan, but I haven't actually bought the first pack yet. I think I'll probably buy either the whole of the first pack or nearly all of it at some point, but I think they've covered most of the bases with the first pack.

I would however want "I Can See For Miles", "Magic Bus" (Live at Leeds), "My Wife", "Quick One" (Live at Leeds). I don't know how many others I'd really want to pay for as DLC though. Just because they're gret songs doesn't immediately mean I want to play them in the game at the price they currently charge.
