Rock Band gave my 360 3RLs!!!

You used the included hub, right? You didn't plug a bunch of instruments directly into the 360, did you?

dude, i'm still waiting on the box for my PS3. Be happy all you have is a two week wait. i've been waiting for the box to ship my system out in for a week, and it's still gonna take 2 weeks for the system to get back to me once it gets there. i wouldn't be surprised if i didn't get my system back after xmas at this rate.

I did use it... is this bad or good? And if it's bad... why would it come with it?

It shouldn't make any difference if you used the hub, plugged the instruments in the ports directly, or plugged in a damn USB-compatible blender to make drinks while rocking out. Connecting to the USB ports won't give you the Ring of Death. The common theory is that it is an overheat problem causing the ring on most units. Like you said, crappy timing. One of my internal fans been making weird noises for several months, so I am just being extra cautious to keep my unit as cool as possible in case the fan craps out and my unit overheats and rings out on me. You just had horrible luck.

I'm not really blaming the game... it's just a really crappy coincidence.

So after all that wait, and playing for 2 hours... I now have to wait 2 more weeks... sucks... cause those were the best 2 hours of my life.
