I know we have seen quite a bit of Rush to date (Moving Pictures = simply amazing), but there is quite a bit of other Canadian artists that I am sure us up north that play Rockband in the comfort of our igloos would like to see.

Some Tragically Hip, Evans Blue, Mathew Good, Our Lady Peace for example would be fantastic for DLC.

Check some of this stuff out if you haven't heard of them.

MORE CANADIAN CONTENT FTW!!!!

Well...if you have anything to suggest instead of a great negative attitude, then do so....thats why its here. There is about a million requests for Muse downloads...why? Because people like it and want it....why should this be any different?

He said it.

The Hip would be fun. Popular Canadian music has been terrible for a long time though, so I can't say there are many I would pick.

Or how about some generic american radio play songs? That seems to be the dlc content on a regular basis....

If you don't like, don't buy it...simple....

because Megadeth is generic american radio play

i merely pointing out that 98% of people who suggest canadian music only suggest the generic crap on the radio/tv...i rarely see people suggesting bands that aren't the average fodder offered by our media.

i noticed this as well. get past generic music, people.

now some good canadian bands would be kataklysm, protest the hero, ion dissonance, and the agonist. u gotta go beyond the radio to discover these guys. up for the challenge?

Please let me know if there is a good canadian radio station out there.. every one i've heard is garbage and plays the same crap twice every hour, or half hour(which actually wasn't crap, and it was Panama, and they played it within 15 minutes of the first run)...

to the guy mentioning Protest the Hero like we don't know who they are. Well I know who they are, and i can only listen to Fortress 52 times before putting it down.. 53 is pushing it.

as for a band that isn't generic mainstream radio, check out Inward Eye, (although i bet they would be overplayed to death had they actually released an album by now... still waiting on that.)

Ok, i'm too tired for this..

i'd love to have something from "you forgot it in people".
the self-titled album's okay, but was very disappointing

lol @ Kataklysm, though. If we're going that way, why not Quo Vadis (moar lol), Martyr, Blinded By Faith (Yes I would TOTALLY play Reptilian Shudders) etc.

The only two bands I still like in that genre are pretty much dead and buried, which'd make for trying to get one of these songs as DLC pretty hard.
