View Full Version : Campaign Questions

Here's a relatively simple question for the devs:I've heard plenty about the multiplayer side of things, but next to nothing about single player. True, when you've got the whole world available to group up and rock with, there shouldn't be many times when you're forced to fly solo. However, if I'm feeling like a quick lick without the pretense of logging on to the internet, finding a band/my band members to play with, getting organized, agreeing on a song, and finally, playing, the effort would quickly outweigh the desire to play at all.On that note, how will single player work? I have this vision of Guitar Hero, only substituting the guitar for a mic or drums (or, naturally, keeping the guitar ). Will there be a GH-ish campaign with a track list and the whole venue setup? Or will you guys break off from that and go in a new direction? More importantly, will players be able to do this campaign mode using whatever instrument they happen to have? (unlike GH, where bass & rhythm were purely multiplayer options)Also, following this thought process, how will multiplayer be organized? Will there be a campaign mode for that? Will we log on and be presented with a GH-ish menu (Campaign, Quick Play, etc)?I'm full of questions, so any scraps you can throw me are much appreciated.

Those are some good questions. I would also like some info about this too. I'm hoping there's Co-op Career (of course) and being able to choose your instrument in solo mode would be great.

And what about mixing difficultys in Multiplayer etc?

Those are good questions. We can't say anything about it yet, but as soon as we're ready we'll let you know, so keep checking back.

I'm no archaeology expert, but I would venture a guess that this thread was buried deep in early April of 2007, dating roughly two years ago

At the risk of not wanting to be banned for posting on an old post, am I the only one who thinks that the OP is a bit ungrateful? They answer his question and not a word or thanks or even another post at all.
