Weird Al doesn't pick the songs because he thinks the artists need to be made fun of, he picks them because he has good ideas to fit the tune and because everyone knows the tune at the time he does it. Therefore, it's not stupid that he does a parody of a song that was already kind of a joke.

Speaking of which, why do we Offspring listeners have to face a decision of whether to take Pretty Fly as part of the pack because it will be reduced price or ignore and go for the two good songs? If I don't go for Pretty Fly I'm going to regret it at parties etc when people who only know that one song by the Offspring come round. If I do go for it, it'll be one of the annoying ones that comes up on random. Yeah, I like the riff it's very cool, but the chorus is just plain annoying.

The Kids Aren't Alright would have been fantastic in its place, that's one of my favourite Offspring tracks. Then I would have taken just about any Offspring song in its place, be it the thirty seconds long Hand grenades, Hit That, Da Hui, Black Ball (not a bad song just included to represent the old school stuff), even Original Prankster. Of course, Bad Habit, Stuff Is Messed Up, Nitro (Youth Energy) would have been good ones.

yeah thats what im considering...do I get it for parties or not get it and never have to play it which makes me happy

the discount isnt that great and I'm gonna pick up the other 6 singles this week so I think Ill skip it...but I have changed my mind a few times

for me even the poppy songs by the offspring are decent except for pretty fly and original prankster, dexter needs to grow his dreads back and they need to get back to their punk roots
