Looking forward to Rock Band for some time. Being a musician, I relished in the fact that I already have a drum stool and a microphone stand.
One problem. The microphone is enormous round-ways. It doesn't fit into a standard microphone holder. That seems really odd. I guess maybe Harmonix didn't figure people might use a real accessory for their game. Perhaps they will sell an adapter for microphone stands so that I can use it and the guitar at the same time without having to tape the microphone to the stand, which is annoying to have to rig something up like this right out of the box.

I picked up a stand and clip yesterday and it fit fine for me.

It does not fit in the snug Shure-sized clips, but a spring-loaded clip or one that says it's made for wireless mics (which are often wider than standard mics) should do the trick.

yes shure mic clips are very well nown for being small, and only fitting the shure standard. The best bet would be to find a 3rd pary mic clip or a mic clip for a wirless mic which have a greater bezel size then wired mics, that should solve your problem and not be too expensive

Thanks a bunch :D
Is there a way to play both the guitar and mic on the same profile? (360 version)

Yeah, I had the same problem. Just hold the clip over the stove for a bit and bend the plastic out... works fine now.

I think they are releasing an optional mic stand accessory some time in the future. I am pretty sure I read that somewheres official. That would hopefully be a sure-fit.
