In my eagerness to rip open the box, I received not one, but TWO cardboard cuts on my fingers. Fortunately, they didn't hinder my drumming. I just found it absolutely ridiculous of me.
However, I bombed the first song I played because the left-most drum wasn't registering. I soon discovered a small piece of cardboard wedged between the drumpad and the frame, which was preventing it from registering unless hit on the opposite edge.
The packaging is out to get me :(
