ok so i was able to get this game today after it being sold out in about ten other local stores. i was pretty jazzed so i got four of my friends together to get a band together and start a world tour. overall i love the game, but here's two things that are somewhat large problems, and i'm wondering if this is happening to anyone else...
first of all, my drums are all messed up. the green and blue pads are switched...what i mean by that is when a "blue" note appears on the screen, you actually have to hit the green pad. and vice versa. it pretty much renders the drums impossible on anything past medium, and even on medium some of it's ridiculous. it's a simple wiring problem, but i don't know how an assembly line could mess that up without messing up a whole bunch of them so i'm wondering if this happened to anyone else.
my second problem is more of a programming problem and could be fixed in a patch. while doing the world tour, we played "In Bloom" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" literally 15times each. we counted. it was ridiculous. anytime there was a "mystery" set or a randomly generated setlist, BOTH of these songs would be on it, and they'd be right next to each other. no other songs appeared NEARLY as much as these. we got so sick of these two songs that one of my friends that was there who had also bought the game but hadn't opened it yet is going to return it tomorrow because it was just too much (especially if you're not the biggest nirvana fan). this seems like it could be patched to add more variety. i know playing songs multiple times in world tour is going to happen, but this was ridiculous. anyone else experiencing this?
if you experience either of these problems or just want to add, please post. hopefully someone with the powers that be will see this and take note. thanks!

I feel your pain on the second problem you had.
Every mystery gig, or anything like that which consists of 2 or more songs, had the same songs. For me and my friends, it was "Maps" and "Say It Ain't So". I played "Say It Ain't So" so much that at one point, I did the vocals AND the drums at the same time!
I think that it selects the songs that you can get a good score in. Our band always got a near perfect score on those songs...I guess that's why it selects them all the time. Although, it gets really tiring! I hope it gets fixed.

yeah at one point we had someone play guitar and sing at the same time for in bloom, and for wanted dead or alive whoever was singing just picked up a newspaper and started reading to match the tones. after several hours of this, before starting our next gig set one of my friends was like "if it's wanted dead or alive, i am going to punch myself in the balls." and sure enough, wanted dead or alive comes up. then after we were able to churn through it screaming the whole time, we see in bloom come up for our next song, at which point our bassist threw the guitar down and screamed "F@#$ this horsesh*#, i'm going home." it was kinda funny cause we were already fighting like a real band, but depressing in the fact that we had unlocked at least 30 songs, yet we were playing 2 of those songs 45% of the time.

That's weird. I havent gotten Wanted Dead or Alive YET! Although, I have played In Bloom and Say it Ain't so at least 15 times each. It's completely ridiculous.

we also got that OK go song quite a bit, but not nearly with the same frequency as the others. i think we got say it ain't so MAYBE three times, and this was after several hours. i'm not sure what causes this massive repeating, but i hope it's patchable. i heard unlocking all the songs in single player first helps, anyone know if this is the case?

Kind of makes you feel for those real bands who have been around decades and played thousands of shows and always having to include "fan favorites" in their sets. Even though it's their own stuff, they must absolutely loathe playing a few of them.
