Anyone else?

My controller just turns off in the middle of a few songs. I put new batteries in, and it worked fine for about 6 songs, then I had the same result. Is this normal?

Please tell me the controllers aren't designed to eat 3 batteries per hour... :(

How far away are you from the ps3? Do you have a corldess phone in the room? I have a 2.4GHZ phone in near my ps3 and when you talk on it, it makes the controller loose connectivity, so I moved it far away and make my wife leave the room to talk....

Edit: one more thing that I found to help, was changing the channel on my wireless network connection(router)

Mine does this, only after a few minutes of being idle though. I've no problems with it while playing.

FInally someone having the same problem as me. For no reason the guitar just stops responding to the IR. At random times in the middle of songs and no reason whatsoever

I RMA"ed it already but for serious crap, the reason I go tthe game mainly was to play guitar so i have the whole week off and now no workign guitar. The better ship my replacement over night!

Figured it may be my wi-fi interfering so I didn't try to change around frequency would help to know what frequency channel the Guitar is running on.

I think I switched from channel 6 to channel 11, and it helped

I am having this issue as well. My problem is, when the guitar shuts down, I hafta take out the dongle and plug it in EVERY time it happens. I hit the button on the guitar that the instructions say will turn it on and sync it up, and nothing happens. This is really starting to piss me off
