Taking your Avatar on the Road

I was wondering if there was anyway to transfer a character to another friends PS3 keeping all the stuff thats been purchased. I have 3 friends in a local area that all have the game but we are planning on meeting and one persons house every Friday to rock out. Was hoping there is a way to move them over so we didn't have to re-create or start over and basically build the same character(s) twice.
