Nope which is disturbing and even making me more pissy because its the holiday so don't expect replacements till like next week sometime. I want to just be able to return **** back to the store. I don't want to deal with a manufacturer when there is a problem. Let the retailer solve the issue with the manufacturer!

I requested a new guitar from EA yesterday at about 9am. I got an RMA # from the web site but the UPS tracking # field was blank and I still haven't received a confirmation email like they said I should.

Has anyone who requested a replacement instrument received any email from EA about it?

I entered my RMA yesterday morning at 7:04 EST and have yet to get a tracking number. I was hoping it would ship yesterday and I would have it Friday but it looks like it didn't. i even picked expedited.

I got a tracking number along with the RMA number. I chose expedited shipping though.

I also didn't receive a tracking number. I filled out the form for expedited shipping at about 9am yesterday. What time did those of you who got a tracking # fill out the form?

I just called EA and they said I would be getting a confirmation email when they ship out the guitar later today.

Give them some time, folks. They're probably SWAMPED with these things.

As long as they don't count the time it takes for them to ship me my new guitar as part of the 28 days on the express limit, I'm fine with it.

...and if the new guitar has the same mushy, sticks-in-place strummer because it's all part of the same hardware design, well, THEN the horror will occur.

Exactly. I love the support I'm getting right now. If they can fix this first shot, I will continue to love HMX. If they send me another defective, then I can no longer trust HMX hardware.
