Voice chat on ps3?

Okay, i've been searching for this info for a bit and i still haven't been able to find any answer on it.
Does anyone know if the ps3 version of rock band supports voice chat? I see nothing in the instruction manual stating it but it seems like kind of an odd thing to leave out.... >.<
