And just on a side note, I didn't experience any problems, maybe it's because I was more interested in ejoying the game and having fun than trying to find things that are wrong with it, I don't know maybe I'm just crazy....:rolleyes:I don't even have the game, but that's just stupid. How easy is it to enjoy something if it doesn't work? I mean how fun would it be to play like super mario and not being able to jump? It's impossible to have fun if you just can't relax and get immersed.

Thanks everybody! And for those who are having issues know that A: you can contact EA customer support (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=8535) for help. And B: We are looking into a lot of the issues everyone here is bringing it up. We take that very, very seriously. When there is more info to share we'll do that.

Thanks again!

Well I finally got my RockBand yesterday, and I just had an incredible time playing my wife and son. We ended up playing until 2:00 am (except for my kid) which is a lot considering that we get up pretty early for work, and for my wife is an all time record, she never stays up late during the week, least of all playing video games. So I want to take the oportunity to thank all the people at Harmonix for creating a truly incredible game, and for making our evenings as a family all the more fun than they usually are!!:)

And just on a side note, I didn't experience any problems, maybe it's because I was more interested in ejoying the game and having fun than trying to find things that are wrong with it, I don't know maybe I'm just crazy....

Edit: Hey what's going on!!?? I made this thread! How did my original post ended up being #4?????

Thanks for the heads up, Sean. I'd definitely like to know if my GHIII guitar will work at some point. If not, I hope TAC makes something that is compatiple with both games. For now I'm loving the Drums and Lead Guitar. The mic feels really sturdy, so maybe after some beers tomorrow I'll give the singing a try. :p

But that's exactly my point, they game plays great no problems! maybe I got lucky I don't know. I just think people are overreacting it's not like they can't play at all, but then again that's just my opinion, besides as Sean said, this problems are been looked into and taken very seriously.

Despite the stuck upstrum bar,
Despite the profile sign-in confusion,
Despite the drums not working with my disability,
Despite having no access to BWT due to no solo and no online,
Despite the hideous GWAR mutants in my band while I play Maps...

...I love Rock Band.

There's room for improvement and I'm glad you take that sort of thing seriously, but what you've done here is a terrific base to build on and is gonna fuel many a fine gaming session in my homestead for months to come. Bravo! Don't rest on your laurels -- keep innovating and tweaking!

I agree.. the game itself is awesome. I just hope that in time Harmonix will iron out the wrinkles with the peripherals (I have a troublesome upstrum!). Otherwise I've had a blast. I'm having a blast just in the practice mode for the drums.

Smokin game guys. My only complaint is that my wife made the statement that SHE will be the band leader for the World Tour and that she will be playing drums. I may have to get a replacement wife...

WTB Rush pack ASAP!

Yay Harmonix!

Thanks for making this game girl-friendly! I recently picked up Guitar Hero 3 and it really bothered me that if I wanted to play a female character I had to play some kind of hyper-sexualized bimbo.

I loved the earlier GH games. It was fun for me to play Judy Nails as a cute little punk rock chick and having her re-designed with implants and stripper moves was incredibly disapointing. I never really bothered to play through more than a couple songs because it was just too depressing - like finding out that one of your childhood friends became a hooker.

When Rock Band came out I was kind of concerned that it might have the same kind of aesthetic. The character design options made me fall in love with the game before I even played a single note. Once we got our band started, I really had fun and kept on playing until I was too hoarse to do any more singing.

Are there any throat lozenges in the Rock Band store?
