This doesn't happen every time, but I have this issue whenever a new instance of the IE6 browser opens the forums. Loading hangs for about 20 seconds...not sure what it is exactly, the only clues I have are that the page doesn't load completely, and IE6 automatically blocks a media.mtvnservices.com tracking cookie. Could this be causing the hiccup?
Ugh...I can't even view the page source...will have to trace the packets later to find more information. (don't have that program on this laptop, heh)

Same problem. I don't notice my IE6 blocking anything though...

I was about to start this thread until I saw yours. I and about 5-6 friend using IE6 are having the same problem.
I know most people have moved on, heck at home I use the latest firefox and chrome browsers, but at work here we are forced to used the non-tabbed Internet explorer 6 and your new site freezes to the point of moving like molasses in 10 degree weather. Which is a real problem as watching and adding to the arguments on this site gets me through my day.
A few of my friends are having the same issues at their jobs as well. Just thought I’d let you know in hopes that your web designer can look into it. Now I’m back off to work.
Oh, nice site by the way.
