World Poker Tour? Awesome!

Unfortunately you cant change instruments or leaders. You have to create a new person for each instrument or start a new band.

This is one of my least favorite things about Rock Band -- having to start a new band if you want to switch to playing guitar instead of drumming. Either that, or having to swap characters, which is also weird if you're into designing a particular style for your musicians.

Surely there must be a better way for Harmonix to implement this. I get that they have to store the band data somewhere and that it's easiest for it to be linked to a particular character. But I wish they'd patch it so you can transfer ownership to a different character, or allow you to play as a band without having the leader in the lineup. It would be fine if they required some character from that Xbox profile to be in the band--that way they can still just save the data to that Xbox profile.

But all of this "no, you have to have that same guy, always, on drums, no matter what" feels like a ridiculous limitation. (Or guitar, or singing, etc.)

Has there been any mention about being able to change instruments as leader? I was getting fustrated cause my cousin and I was playing yesterday. He was on drums and I was vocal. I was the leader(vocal) and we played for a bit, but I wanted to switch to guitar. I ended up having to create a new band and start over to be able to play guitar and my cousin kept at drums. Is there ways that this can be corrected or just nature of the beast? After playing from pretty much 2 until 10 with a break to run and get a pizza, my hand was shot from playing on expert on guitar. I wanted to switch to vocal and again, but we was close to unlocking PR firm before I had to quit. I hope this could get corrected, but does anyone know for sure if it will? I would think be great if you can rotate among the band instruments. Some bands do have different members sing for songs and/or switch lead and rythem guitar. A horrible band saw other night at the GH Adultswim tour, ......Trail of Dead, switched the entire band around from guitars, to keyboards, to drums and vocal.

It's the best game ever! It could be the even bestest game ever if HMX removes some of the restrictions from us paying customers enjoying the game the way we want to, IE: Solo World Tour! Change instruments!, etc etc. I'm really hoping they will listen to us and patch all this.
