With so many threads about people having issues with instruments, I just wanted to see how many people had no issues. Because everything works great for me.

I picked my copy up yesterday morning and then played with some friends from 5pm till 10pm with no problems.

The strat works great. Some people didnt like the way the new strum feels but it deffinately works fine because me brother was playing with it on expert and hitting 95% on most songs.

The drums are awesome. I banged on them all night with out a problem. Everyone was afraid to hit them too hard till they saw me play. I was banging away on them and they responded perfectly. I love them. I cant wait to work my way up the difficultly levels.

The Mic, well its a mic. It works. I really wish it had buttons on it so the singer doesnt have to have a controller near by.

The usb hub works great. Its annoying that it needs an external power source but other than that its worked without a problem.

I have a few issues with the way BWT works but I'm dealing with it. I really wish you didnt have to have a band leader that plays in every song. I also wish that the characters you make werent locked to a xbox live profile. Other than that the game is awesome. We had a blast.

All my hardware (360) working fine after about 7 hours of play on each.

Edit: Day 3, down strum is starting to go south...

Those without problems are too busy rocking out to come and post here. (Conversely, those with problems are going to be the first ones here to report them)

The rare exception belongs to folks like myself who would like to rock out, but are stuck at work. :D

My only issue was with the guitar, post-patch. I plan to remove the patch and go along my merry way. Everything else works fine.

I'm only stuck here for another 4.5 hours, maybe less if I can sneak out early for the holiday...

Everything worked great for me, and I love the strat, so much more than the GH guitars, I dont see why some people are so against it.

ya you also have people like me here that were up all night playing and just now dragged my butt out of bed and are still wakinging up.

I realize that most of the people with out a problem are prob playing but I just wanted to people to know that some of us are happy with rock band.

BTW Bakkster, What did the patch do that you didnt like? is there patch notes somewhere? I didnt see any.

Post-patch my Strat isn't recognized, no green light on the guide button. I don't know of any patch notes, but most console games don't have patch notes, per-se.

No problems, all good things. I love this game.

I just want to see a freestyle / sound check mode so I can just go crazy on the drums...anyone know if that's possible?

All my stuff is/was working fine.

Last night playing Here We Go Again and Surfraggette City on Expert I was POSITIVE my guitar finally died.

Granted, I was drinking heavily and at this point changed my normal light strumming to hard mashing, and was getting nothing.

The next song I ended up 95%

I really think my problem was
a) the window to hit those quick chords is TINY!

and

b) i was tanked.

So I'm ASSUMING it's still working - but I went to bed shortly after the 95% and havent tried it again yet. But I'm thinking all my stuff is still A-Ok.

My yellow drum has some dings in it now - but it still works so who cares? Its a drum!

I have the PS3 Rock Band and all my instruments are working just fine...! I believe those who are having problems are probably not setting their intruments right or are not following the instructions that come in the box or skipped the PS3 update or something..

Three days of hard use and all of my hardware is still working perfectly. I ran into one small snag with the Dolby Digital causing significant lag for Drum and Vocals but it was quickly remedied.

No issues here on the 360 version... works like a champ, and is just amazingly fun.

All of my stuff works flawlessly. A friend of mine also has it and has no problems whatsoever.

I have probably just doomed something to break with this post. Hopefully it's something of my friend's.

yea, got 360 bundle @ midnight launch date (from wal-mart for those that think they sell inferior bundles) and everything's been straight on the hardware end, had a little issue w/figuring out the wireless controller had to be active to use the mic (but that's user error)
up and down strums on the strat are flawless for me, down for guitar and i've actually been able to finger pick the bass which is refreshing.

as for software issues, nothing other than the small nitpicking that would make a great game epic, but i'm sure over time it will be when they get all the DLC straightened out, one of the pluses of having patches, or the ability to do so.

hopefully, for those interested DLC will include new venues and items and such instead of having to make and produce a rock band 2, I'm under the assumption that they've planned ahead for this game and I won't need to buy 4-5 versions of this game for slightly different experiences, so I cross my fingers and wait. ;)

No problems at all on my end. At first, I thought that my guitar was messed up because while I was singing and playing, it kept missing notes. Comes to find out, my singing kind of messes up my ability to play the guitar...cause once I stopped singing, I aced the song.

after 8 straight hours of play last night, all my stuff is working great! there is somthing rattling around on the inside of my guitar but whatever it is, it seems really small and completely insignificant. its just a slight annoyance when i pick the guitar up. none of my friends seemed to notice it, so like i said, its no big deal, just wish i knew what it was or how i could get rid of it. if anyone has the same thing or knows whats up, lemme know!

nothing but smooth sailing over here. DLC and everything works perfect.
