the film is set around the times of the Darwin bombings during world war 2 and its probably the biggest film about Australia...

truth be told I was surprised to hear about it way back in year 8 (the bombings)

I guess this is a first for Australia on many levels but all together interesting


I'd like to see them make a film set in the modern times in Sydney instead of either in the outback or in the past..(I guess they don't because its such a crap for Aussie filmmakers to film in Syd)

That looks like it's worth checking out. I like Baz' visual flair, and Jackman is always a pleasure to watch. Not a big Kidman fan, though.
